I recently asked in my Instapreneur Mastermind Facebook group if you were building your email list. And I had a few people ask me for some tips so they could start building their email list.

So, you want to build an email list?

Good!

There’s all this hype right now about Social Media.

And, why not?

Social Media can send you a ton of traffic.

But what do smart business owners do with that traffic?

They turn it into an email list.

Building an email list is STILL one of the smartest things you can do to start – and grow – your business.

As a business owner, Collecting emails is a part of building a successful business. Emailing your prospects or leads is a great way to build your relationship faster than doing it 1-2-1. It’s very convient to write an email and send it out to 1000 people to read compared to messaging 1000 people. You’ll end up in FB jail right if you try to do that, trust me I know? LOL.

Social media is amazing. But all your followers, likes, members, friends aren’t yours. You don’t own any of these. If Facebook goes away…so do all those friends and members. If Instagram or Twitter disappears so do all of those followers.

So it’s very important to be collecting emails of people. Emails are something you own. So it doesn’t matter if Facebook goes away or Twitter disappears…you can still communicate with your people.

I saw this first hand recently. I was building up my Facebook group for 1.5 years…and then BOOM one day it disappeared. Poof gone! All of those 6,917 members gone! Luckily I was collecting their emails. So I can still communicate with them…and even invite them to a new FB group when I started another one.

The question is, how do you get started building the email list?

GETTING STARTED: HOW TO BUILD AN EMAIL LIST THE RIGHT WAY

So, you’re sold. How do you start building your email list?

Here are the exact steps you need to follow.

First, You Need A Good Email List Software

An autoresponder: Autoresponders are messages set to go out automatically. They help you automate campaigns and manage one-to-one communication with your recipients.

Some examples are GetResponse (that is what I use), Aweber, Mailchimp, InfusionSoft, iContact, and some others.

You’ll need things like a website hosting, domain, etc. (I know I'm sounding techy, but hang on, don't get scared)…

Finally, You Need A Good All-In-One Tool

That is how amazing and easy Converzly is! I hope you see the benefits of it. It’s going to be game-changing for so many. It’s truly the future of landing-pages and sales funnels, so stop using clunky and outdated tools. And start collecting emails.
